As Avero's founder and CEO, Damian Mogavero fosters a philosophy deeply rooted in his passion for the culinary arts, wine and hospitality, as well as his experience in corporate finance.
Prior to founding Avero, Damian served as CFO for a New York City-based restaurant group, where he witnessed firsthand that chefs and managers didn't have resources to run their operations efficiently. Damian recognized that the restaurant industry needed a revolutionary tool, an easy-to-use software that could empower food and beverage operators to make faster and more profitable decisions while still providing outstanding service to their guests. His entrepreneurial passion and motivation to improve the restaurant industry continues to fuel Avero's growth.
Damian graduated from La Salle University and earned his Master's of Business Administration from Harvard University. Before becoming a restaurant CFO-turned-entrepreneur, Damian was a Wall Street investment banker in the corporate finance department of Dillon, Read & Co.
